Mirage Residential 25 year finish warranty: since Jan 1999

BOA-FRANC Inc., the manufacturer of Mirage Hardwood Flooring, warrants, to the original purchaser, that the factory applied, finish on its MIRAGE prefinished hardwood floor will not wear through or separate from the wood for a full 25 years, from the date of purchase, when used under normal residential traffic conditions, and as long as you follow the Maintenance schedule as prescribed, in their Maintenance Guide.

This finish warranty does not include any indentations, or scratches etc. caused by lack of proper maintenance, misuse, negligence, accidents, etc. See the documentation included with your flooring for all the details.

NOTE: They are one of the few flooring manufacturers that warranty every grade of flooring that they produce.... NOT like many that only have a warranty on their high end products.

That being said, this basically means not wearing shoes in the house that might track gravel inside and no sharp objects from childrens toys or furniture pads that might scratch the finish... but then a Mirage wood floor should be treated like a fine piece of furniture and not be put to this kind of physical abuse in the first place.
